Description:
María has just found out she's pregnant. She feels alone because the father, a truckdriver, wants nothing to do with her or her pregnancy. María's own father is admitted to the hospital, and her mother, who has spent her entire life caring for that violent and intolerant man, comes to live with María. The only thing the two women have in common is that they're both lonely, but then they get to know María's neighbor. A friendship among the three blossoms and gives them hope.
