Description:
After six years as a civil war P.O.W., a kinder, more thoughtful confederate soldier returns to his farm and the wife who'd believed he was dead. A disappointed suitor reveals that the soldier is an impostor, and that the real Sommersby is wanted for murder. The soldier must admit his past identity to remain free, or die for another man's crime.
